Poland increased its imports of table eggs almost twofold over the course of the first nine months of 2025 compared to the previous year. According to egg producers, the industry is attempting to preserve external sales markets through re-export, writes UkrAgroConsult with reference to Bankier.pl. According to the analytical report of the Bureau of Analysis and Strategies KOWR, in January–September 2025, imports of table eggs to Poland amounted to 25.4 thousand tons, whereas in the same period of 2024, they were 13.7 thousand tons. As reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland, in the same period of 2025, Polish producers exported 179.8 thousand tons of eggs of various purposes (in 2024, 181.6 thousand tons).
