The District Municipality of Cusipata, in the Cusco region, invites the general population to participate in the "Capulí Raymi 2026", a celebration that seeks to honor ancestral customs, revalue cultural identity, and pay homage to the richness of the Cusipata land. The event will take place on Saturday, February 8, starting at 9:00 a.m., in the Plaza de Armas of Cusipata, and will bring together families, producers, and visitors in a day full of culture, flavor, and tradition. During the "Capulí Raymi 2026", the public will be able to enjoy indigenous carnival dances at the local and regional level, the display of capulí and its derivatives, as well as apicultural products, maize derivatives, and dairy products. Additionally, a local craft fair and a large gastronomic festival will be held, offering typical dishes such as guinea pig, chicken, and pork, as well as the traditional Tímpu Cusipateño and the classic frutillada, reaffirming the identity and cultural pride of Cusipata.
