Czech Republic: Lower apple harvest and higher pear harvest

The Czech Republic is experiencing a below-average apple harvest this year, with production estimated at 111,500 tons, marking a 5% decrease from the previous year and a 6% drop from the five-year average. In contrast, the pear harvest is expected to see a significant increase of 21%, with an estimated yield of 7,000 tons. Apples make up the primary crop in nearly half of the country's 13,300 hectares of orchards.
