The Spanish Agrarian Guarantee Fund has reported a rise in the average price of cow's milk to 0.34 euros in January 2021, the highest since January 2014. Despite this, milk production in Spain fell by 1.3% to 617,320.7 tons. The price increase varied across regions, with Galicia seeing the highest annual increase of 3%. However, production in Galicia rose by 1.33%. Other regions experienced a decrease in production, with Catalonia showing the largest decrease of 5.2%.
