Since the beginning of 2024, Russia has seen a significant increase in dairy exports to China, with growth exceeding 60% compared to the same period in 2023. This was highlighted by Dmitry Krasnov, the head of the federal center "Agroexport," during a strategic session. Overall, Russia's dairy exports have risen by 9% in volume to 186 thousand tons and by 20% in value to $374 million. Specific categories, such as cheese and cottage cheese, have experienced the most growth, with increases of 25% and 40% respectively, while milk and cream are up by 40%, and milk powder by 32%.
