Colombia: Dairy imports in April decreased but remain close to the level of 2019

In the first four months of the year, the entry of about 25,000 tons of milk-derived products was reported, a third less than what was acquired in the same period of 2020, but more than in previous years, placing it in third place below the first quarter of 2019. The figures grouped by the Office of Planning and Economic Investigations of Fedegán-FNG until April 30 reveal that the national industry imported 24,847 tons of dairy products, of which 3,418 corresponded to the month of April. The CIF value of these purchases was USD 67,890,000, of which USD11,064,000 were invested only in the fourth month of 2021.
