Inner Mongolia's Dalat Banner is converting saline-alkali land into high-standard farmland, having transformed nearly 90,000 mu of such land and 50,000 mu of irrigated land from 2019 using engineering, agricultural, and biological methods. The initiative, located in a national commodity grain base, aims to increase agricultural efficiency and mechanization. The process involves leveling the land and spraying desulphurization gypsum, with plans to convert an additional 90,000 mu of land this year.
