Turkey: Dam built in Manisa will contribute to the regional economy

In Manisa, the city of princes, Yunusemre Sarma-Davutlar Dam, which will provide life water to 9 thousand 920 decares of land and provide approximately 75 million additional income to the regional economy annually, is gradually approaching completion. The project, whose front face concrete coating works are ongoing, will be completed in the first months of the new year. The General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSI) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry works with all its might to popularize modern irrigation in agriculture, to provide the highest benefit from agricultural lands with consolidation works, to deliver healthy and drinkable water to taps and to protect settlements and agricultural lands against flood risks, while also protecting every drop of water with its sustainable water management approach.
