Egypt: Damietta port receives 10772 tons of wheat

The media center of the Damietta Port Authority issued a statement, saying that the port had dealt, during the past 24 hours, with 24 container ships and general cargo. The center explained that the incoming movement of general goods included thousands of tons of various commodities, and the port received 10,772 tons of wheat, 416 tons of beech wood, and 11,234 tons of plywood. The port also received 5,161 tons of fava beans, 7,500 tons of scrap, 8702 tons of corn, and 3,782 tons of edible oil. The center indicated that the movement of exports of general goods included many commodities, such as 839 tons of nitrates, 3,431 tons of superphosphate, in addition to the above 4000 tons of cement.
