(Danyang=Yonhap News) North Chungcheong Province's Danyang County announced on the 5th that it will be pushing forward with the "Agricultural Waste Collection and Disposal Support Project" in the second half of the year.
This initiative aims to create a pleasant rural environment and to eradicate the illegal incineration and landfill of agricultural waste.
The collection targets include pot pans, drip hoses, ton bags (straw mats), rubber hoses, and agricultural ropes, among others.
The county plans to carry out the collection operations in areas such as Jiktiri in Daegaeng-myeon, Yeongok-ri in Eosancheon-myeon, Goipyeong-ri in Daegaeng-myeon, Sapyeong-ri in Ga-gok-myeon, and Hari and Soya-ri in Jeokseong-myeon by the 14th of this month. The target collection amount is over 100 tons.
