Delivery of corn seed supplies to farmers in the face of the emergency in the eastern region of Paraguay

PARAGUAY, Paraguay, February 24, 2022.- The deliveries of corn seeds with biotechnology, were delivered in 11 departments of the eastern region in a first stage, and will continue in the following weeks, with the aim of mitigating the effects of the drought that affects the country and the region in general . In response to the emergency in the agricultural sector, as a result of the long drought and lack of significant rainfall in the region, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) distributed 4,762 bags of corn seeds with biotechnology, each seed has 50 kilos of seeds, totaling some 238 tons delivered to producers of peasant family farming.
