The Deputy Prime Minister of Poland announced a subsidy program to replace creosote-impregnated poles used in hop plantations, as part of ongoing EU regulations to limit the use of creosote. The program will support growers with funding for the purchase, transport, and installation of new creosote-free poles. The Deputy Prime Minister also addressed concerns about grain prices, exports from Ukraine, and the future of the Polish hop industry. During a visit to Lublin, he expressed the government's efforts to control fertilizer prices and addressed criticisms from farmers about his policy and the ownership of the National Food Group.
