A business mission led by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the Federal Center "Agroexport" was held in Uzbekistan to discuss the development of cooperation and mutual trade in oil and fat products. The meeting was attended by Russian manufacturing companies and Uzbek importers, processors, and distributors. The discussion focused on the prospects for Russian supplies of oil and fat products to Uzbekistan and the challenges faced by exporters and importers. In 2022, the volume of oil and fat exports to Uzbekistan increased to 241 thousand tons, with a change in the structure of supplies. The potential areas of cooperation include the supply of high-quality margarine and sunflower oil to Uzbek retail chains, joint production, and the creation of logistics facilities.
