The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) organized a Field Day aimed at aquaculture producers from the Apurímac, Ene, and Mantaro Rivers Valley (Vraem), dedicated to the breeding of paco and trout. The event aimed to consolidate the technical learning imparted throughout the year and strengthen the productive capacities of the fish farmers, promoting a more efficient, sustainable, and profitable aquaculture activity in the area. During the event, practical sessions were held on pond preparation and management, water quality control, aquaculture health, as well as harvesting and post-harvest processes. Fish farmers from the districts of Pichari, Unión Asháninka, Villa Kintiarina (Cusco), Santa Rosa, Sivia, Canayre, and Unión Progreso (Ayacucho) participated in this training space, exchanging experiences and strengthening the coordinated work among producers from the Vraem.
