DFS: Another 6.8 million leva to be credited to fruit growers due to frost damage

The State Fund "Agriculture" authorized an additional 6.8 million leva (6,796,541 leva) for 282 fruit growers whose orchards were affected by poor weather conditions this year.

At the end of last week, the phased transfer of funds for state aid to compensate for damages to agricultural crops caused by adverse weather conditions, for frost/hail damage to cherries, cherries, and apricots in 2025, began. The total amount authorized so far is over 28.5 million leva (28,534,008 leva) for 1,695 farmers.
