The price of diesel recorded an average increase of 14.7% in one month, following a price adjustment announced by Petrobras, increasing the cost of transportation across the country. Data from the Fuel Market Price Radar, developed by Gestran, a Fleet Management platform, indicate that the average value rose from R$ 5.7467 per liter in February to R$ 6.5940 in March—an increase of R$ 0.85. The survey monitors refueling in real time and considered 3.51 million liters of S10 diesel at 622 gas stations, based on transactions with invoices. The platform's proposal is to function as a "diesel price consultation," allowing analysis by state, city, and type of fuel. In the regional breakdown, the adjustment occurred nationwide, but with varying intensities. The Northeast led the increase, with an average advance of 15.57%, followed by the South (15.55%) and the Midwest (15.13%).
