From November 2023 to October 2024, Brazil's domestic consumption of coffee reached 21.91 million 60kg bags, a 1.11% increase from the previous period, with per capita consumption at 5.01 kg per year. This represents 40.4% of the total harvested coffee in the country. The Southeast Region led in coffee consumption, followed by the Northeast, South, Northern, and Central-West Regions, accounting for 41.7%, 26.9%, 14.6%, 8.8%, and 8% of the national demand, respectively. These findings were reported by the Coffee Observatory of the Coffee Research Consortium, as per the Brazilian Coffee Industry Association's 'Coffee Industry Indicators – 2024' report.
