South Korea: Domestic paprika goes to the Philippines by air

As the quarantine requirements for Korean paprika exports to the Philippines have been eased, the export route is expected to further widen. The Agriculture, Forestry and Livestock Quarantine Headquarters announced on the 2nd that negotiations that had been ongoing with the Philippines to ease export quarantine requirements for Korean paprika since last year were finalized on the 2nd. Until now, Korean paprika could only be exported as ship cargo. There was also the inconvenience of having to inspect 600 samples during export quarantine and packaging and sealing them in a packaging box. With this revision, exports through air cargo became possible, and the amount of sample inspection during export quarantine was adjusted to 2% of the total.
