South Korea reported an outbreak of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) to the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) after nine months. The outbreak began on January 30, 2026, at a farm with 246 cattle in Ganghwa County, Incheon City, near the border with North Korea.
