Dominican Republic will receive exports of Colombian oranges

For the first time, the Dominican Republic market will receive Colombian oranges, which will arrive in a shipment of 23 tons that will be exported from the port of Barranquilla. The cargo of Salustiana oranges, comes from farms authorized for export, located in the departments of Quindío and Caldas, will arrive at the Río Haina port, in the municipality of Santo Domingo Oeste. "This is an achievement for the country's orange-producing sector. We continue to conquer international markets. Our delicious fruit will arrive in the Dominican Republic, a destination that will expand the demand for this national product, which, in 2021, managed to reach to 11 markets with 17,654 tons," said the general manager of ICA, Deyanira Barrero León.
