In the first quarter of the 2024/25 season, Turkey's dried apricot exports have performed well, with 25,461 tons exported and a 12% increase in foreign exchange earnings, reaching $125.5 million. The Aegean Exporters' Association is targeting 100,000 tons of exports this season, focusing on expanding into distant markets such as the USA, India, and China. The USA, Germany, and France remain the largest importers, while exports to China, Algeria, India, and Kazakhstan have seen significant growth. Efforts are underway to enhance the value of Turkish apricots through various projects and collaborations.
