Turkey's dried apricot exports for the 2023/24 season amounted to 66 thousand 832 tons, generating $399 million in revenue, with the average export price per ton increasing by 10.5% to $5 thousand 967. Despite a 17% decrease in quantity, the fall in foreign exchange income was limited to 8%. The country aims to export 107 thousand tons in the 2024/25 season to a diverse range of markets, including the United States, India, Australia, China, Japan, Brazil, and South Korea, with the United States being the demand leader with $63.6 million. The Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters' Association played a key role in these exports, contributing $195 million.
