The article highlights the performance of Turkey's dried fruit and products sector in the first half of 2022, with a total export value of 755 million 880 thousand dollars, marking a 10.6% increase from the previous year. The Southeastern Anatolia Region contributed 22.3% to these exports, led by pistachios. The European Union, particularly Germany, was the top destination for these exports, with pistachios, dried apricots, and dried figs being the favorite exports. Mehmet Çıkmaz, President of the Southeastern Anatolia Dried Fruits and Products Exporters' Association, expressed optimism, believing the sector will surpass its 2022 targets.
