The dried fruit sector in Aydın, Turkey, saw a significant increase in performance, reaching $88 million in February, up from $73.1 million in January. This sector, which includes dried figs, seedless raisins, and dried apricots, makes up 94% of total exports in the Aegean Region. Other notable exports include the mining industry at $15 million and the automotive industry at $12 million. Despite challenges, the olive and olive oil exports managed to achieve $62.3 million in February, limiting the decrease in exports to 11.5% compared to February 2023.
