The article highlights the significant achievement of the dried fruit industry in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, Turkey, in the first eight months of 2021. The region exported dried fruits and products to 94 countries, generating revenue of $172,348,000, which represents 20% of Turkey's total exports during the same period. The main exports included dried figs, walnuts, other roasted fruits, apricot and currant seeds, and roasted chickpeas. The primary importers were Germany, Italy, and the United States. This performance has earned the industry accolades, with the exporters' association conveying congratulations to its members for their significant contribution to the regional economy.
