Turkey's dried fruit sector has experienced an 11% increase in exports, reaching $1.3 billion in the first nine months of 2021, with a 2% increase in quantity exported. The sector aims to surpass $1.5 billion in exports for the first time in history by the end of the year. The country leads in the production and export of seedless raisins, dried apricots, and dried figs, with pistachio exports seeing a 112% increase. The sector plans to achieve its goals with the "Turkish Dried Fruits" project and by diversifying its markets in the United States, Russia, Japan, China, Brazil, and India.
