On November 6, the UAE received its first shipment of 153 tons of Dunhuang grapes from Shenzhen Shekou Port, marking a significant export milestone for the grape industry in Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, China. This event underscores the region's suitability for grape cultivation due to its long sunshine hours, large temperature difference, dry climate, and minimal pest and disease issues, making it one of the most favorable regions for grape farming in the country. The export received support from the Dunhuang Airport Customs under Lanzhou Customs, which established a green channel for declaration and inspection, ensuring smooth customs clearance through comprehensive control of the grape export process. This achievement adds to the growing international presence of Dunhuang grapes, which are famous for the Red Globe variety, and expands the fruit's export reach to 18 countries.
