The Eurasian Economic Commission has eliminated the duty on the import of krill meat in the region, which will benefit factories that use krill meat for canned food and spreads production. This decision aims to boost the competitiveness of seafood products within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and meet the demand for krill meat in deep processing plants. The measure was previously implemented for two years in 2017 and extended for three years in 2020.
