The Eurasian Economic Commission has approved new chapters of the Uniform Veterinary Requirements and forms of veterinary certificates for in vitro embryos of cattle and small cattle embryos. These requirements have not been defined at the national level of the Member States or at the commission level, making it difficult for them to be imported and circulated freely in the Union. The documents are based on applications from business entities interested in supplying these types of controlled goods to the Eurasian Economic Union. The commission has also updated the unified veterinary requirements and forms of veterinary certificates in accordance with the standards of the World Organization for Animal Health for large artiodactyls in terms of bovine spongiform encephalopathy, and for zoo and circus animals in terms of epizootic welfare for contagious animal diseases.
