As of November 22, 984.5 thousand hectares of crops in Russia have been harvested, with a total sugar beet yield of 40.1 million tons, marking a increase from the previous year. However, the quality of the sugar beets has decreased, leading to a lower yield and sugar production compared to the previous year. As a result, sugar factories have produced 3.80 million tons of beet sugar, which is less than the previous year. Similarly, in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, sugar beet harvesting and processing have been completed, but the yield and quality of the beets have decreased due to adverse weather conditions, resulting in lower production compared to the previous year.
