Turkey: Early apricot harvest started in the Pamukkale district of Denizli

Apricots grown on trees in early apricot orchards in Pamukkale district of Denizli have started to be collected. Thanks to the climate characteristics, many medicinal and aromatic plants and fruits, especially thyme, pomegranate and quince, are grown in Pamukkale, and early apricots have begun to be harvested in open gardens. Denizli Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Şakir Çınar, Deputy Director Saffet Üge, Denizli Chamber of Agriculture President Hamdi Gemici, producer Talat Özkan and provincial and district directorate technical staff attended the first apricot harvest.
