Vietnam's cashew exports have seen positive growth in the past year, with export revenue of approximately $2 billion USD after 7 months, a nearly 10% increase. The country's cashew exports reached 335,000 tons, worth $1.94 billion USD in the first 7 months of 2023, showing a volume increase of 13.3% and a value increase of 9.7% compared to the same period in 2022. However, global factors such as geopolitical conflicts and high inflation have negatively affected the cashew industry, and it is projected that Vietnam's cashew nut exports for the year will reach around $3.05-3.15 billion USD, falling short of the planned $3.8 billion goal.
