East is interested in Serbian strawberries

Importers from the east want to buy Serbian strawberries. This is good news for Polish producers. The more strawberries left to the east of our competitors, the more "space" there will be for our fruit. The strawberry season is starting in Serbia. The local producers and exporters are satisfied with the market situation. Currently, prices range from 150 to 300 dinars (5.80 - 11.70 zlotys / kg) but at the peak of the harvest they will drop slightly. The interest of importers is high. Merchants from Russia have already arrived and are waiting for the loading of strawberries, informs the director of one of the local agricultural cooperatives in the Serbian industry media. Producers hope that the fruit in good condition will reach eastern markets. Importers from Germany, Austria and ... Poland are also showing interest.
