Brazil: The milk program will have an initial investment of BRL 26 million

With an initial investment of at least BRL 26 million for 2023, the Milk Program (PAB Leite) is being resumed in Ceará through a partnership between the State, via the Secretariat for Agrarian Development (SDA), and the Federal Government. The program should benefit more than 315,000 people through around 2,000 entities, with the purchase of bovine and goat milk from family farming producers. To present the balance of the program and discuss the perspectives for this year, the SDA, through the Coordination of Support to the Livestock Productive Chains (Codep), held on Tuesday (02/28), the State Seminar of the Milk Program. The program, which opened with the presence of the head of the SDA, Moisés Braz, included lectures, presentations and guidance to around 300 representatives from 170 invited municipalities.
