Ecuadorian and Peruvian authorities have reached agreements to authorize the entry of live cattle from Ecuador and establish the phytosanitary requirements for Ecuadorian pitahaya. These agreements were made in a virtual meeting between Ecuador's Agrocalidad and Peru's SENASA, in line with the commitments made in the Plan of Action of the 2019 Ecuador-Peru Binational Cabinet. The publications of the requirements for these products are expected soon, aiming to boost trade between the two countries.
