ECUADOR’S SHRIMP SECTOR EXPLORES HOW TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE

Ecuador’s shrimp sector explores how to improve performance through new technologies at SustainED. Shrimp aquaculture is entering a new phase, where the use of data and digital tools is beginning to transform how operations are managed across the value chain. On April 14, more than 60 professionals from Ecuador’s shrimp sector participated in a new edition of SustainED , a lifelong learning programme led by the Sustainable Shrimp Partnership (SSP) and the National Chamber of Aquaculture (CNA) , to explore how the industry is incorporating digital solutions and new technologies, and how these can be applied in practice to strengthen its ongoing process of improvement and innovation.
