The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has officially classified 'coconut milk' as a food product under TN VED 2106. The commission has also defined coconut milk as an emulsion made from coconut meat extracted in water, with a minimum vegetable fat content of 5% for non-fat coconut milk and 10% for regular coconut milk, up to 20%. The classification will be effective after 30 days from the date of publication.
