The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has allocated a quota for the import of up to 125,000 tons of beef from five countries to its bloc member states, including 100 thousand tons for Russia, 10 thousand tons for Armenia, 7.5 thousand tons for Belarus, 5 thousand tons for Kazakhstan, and 2.5 thousand tons for Kyrgyzstan. This decision aims to provide meat producers with affordable raw materials and stabilize consumer prices. Brazilian slaughterhouses that meet the necessary standards can benefit from the tariff exemption for imports.
