Ukraine's fruit and vegetable market has seen significant changes due to the occupation of southern territories and the energy crisis, leading to increased imports of greenhouse vegetables and root crops like onions and carrots, with Poland being the primary supplier. Despite the growth in these imports, the demand for positions to purchase these goods has decreased. Meanwhile, the demand for exotic fruits and vegetables has dropped due to a reduced consumer base and general impoverishment, with fig imports hitting a five-year low in October. Turkey has been a dominant supplier of greenhouse vegetables to Ukraine, including cucumbers, tomatoes, and zucchini.
