One of the world's leading agribusiness companies, Bunge, is bidding to purchase Vinnytsia Oil and Fat Plant, currently owned by Oleksiy Ponomarchuk. This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine will consider the application of Koninklijke Bunge B.V. (Rotterdam, Netherlands) from August 21 of this year for permission to acquire control over the company Eltorne Limited (Paphos, Cyprus), which belongs to Ponomarchuk and through LLC "Aktiv-OJK" owns 100% of the shares of PJSC "Vinnytsia OJK". Vinnytsia OJK, according to information on its website, is a universal multicultural plant that processes three types of oilseeds (sunflower, rapeseed, soybean) and produces unrefined oils and meal.
