Brazil is expected to reach a new record in egg production and consumption by 2025, according to projections from the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA). The estimate is 62 billion units and an average of 288 eggs per inhabitant, placing the country for the first time among the top 10 per capita consumers in the world. National egg production is expected to reach 62 billion units in 2025, a 7.5% increase from 2024, which recorded 57.683 billion units.
