The Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation in Egypt, Elsayed Elkosayer, announced that the release of animal feed supplies, including maize and soybeans, will continue in cooperation with the Central Bank of Egypt. The total amount of supplies released from ports between October 20 and 26, 2022, was 121,000 tonnes, valued at $60 million. The purpose of releasing these supplies is to ensure the availability of essential feed ingredients for poultry and livestock and the minister is urging poultry project owners to lower prices and support the government's initiative.
