Egyptian imports of fresh apples have seen a significant fluctuation over the past year, with a decrease of 25 million and 776 thousand dollars in September 2022 compared to the same month in 2021, but an increase of 9 million and 544 thousand dollars in March 2022 compared to March 2020. The imports contributed to the total value of non-durable consumer goods imports, which increased by 311 million and 516 thousand dollars in September 2022 compared to the same month in 2021. However, imports of medicines and pharmaceuticals saw a decrease of 145 million and 998 thousand dollars in the same period.
