Eight cooperative officials and employees in Tongyeong, Gyeongnam, donated 15 million won in hometown love contributions.

The city of Tongyeong, Gyeongnam, announced that last Friday, employees of the Tongyeong Fisheries Cooperative donated a total of 15 million won in hometown love contributions to the cities of Gumi, Yangsan, and Gimhae. This donation was made by eight fisheries cooperatives, including Tongyeong, Geoje, Saryang, nearshore eel traps, southwestern sea, sea squirts, anchovy drift nets, and Yokji, continuing their meaningful participation this year following last year. The handover ceremony was attended by the heads of seven cooperatives, including the chairman of the Tongyeong Fisheries Cooperative, and the participating chairman, Jeong Du-han, said, "As a cooperative that has grown together with the sea of Tongyeong, we will actively participate in various activities for the local community in the future."
