Santa Rosa do Sul in Brazil promotes Field Day and the opening of the passion fruit harvest this Thursday

This Thursday, the 22nd, the city of Santa Rosa do Sul will host the opening ceremony of the passion fruit harvest in Santa Catarina, which takes place at the end of the V Field Day on agricultural culture. The event takes place between 8:30 am and 11:30 am, on the Frutas Catarina property, owned by farmer Murilo Matias Da Rolt. The realization is by Epagri, in partnership with the Secretary of State for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development and the Santa Rosa do Sul City Hall. The Field Day will offer visitors information concentrated in three technical stations: application technology; practical tips for the production of passion fruit seedlings; how to select plants and fruits to obtain seeds. Santa Catarina is the third largest producer of passion fruit in Brazil, after Ceará and Bahia.
