[Agricultural Fisheries and Livestock Newspaper=Reporter Park Se-jun] With the completion of modern rice seed cold storage facilities and advanced seed selection equipment, achievements of the agricultural Official Development Assistance (ODA) project between the Republic of Korea and the Philippines are expected to enhance the Philippines' self-sufficiency rate in food and deepen the agricultural cooperation relationship between South Korea and the Philippines. The completion ceremony of the "Capacity Building Project for the Sustainable Production and Distribution of High-Quality Rice Seeds in the Philippines," supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and implemented by the Korea Rural Community Corporation, was successfully held on the 6th at the headquarters of the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice CES) in Nueva Ecija, Philippines. The event was attended by Jeong Hyeon-jeong, Economic Counselor at the South Korean Embassy in the Philippines, and Nichols.
