ETHANOL: After advancing for more than 3 months, the hydrated indicator stabilizes

The prices of hydrated ethanol in the state of São Paulo, which had been rising consecutively since mid-October of last year, stabilized last week, according to data from Cepea. Agents from distributors were less active in the spot market, as they are still working with ethanol acquired a few weeks ago – it should be noted that Cepea observed large transactions at the end of 2025. Now, the expectation is that demand will start to heat up this month, due to the return of school classes and the proximity of the carnival break.
