EU apple production returns to an eight-year low according to the Commission

The European Union's production of fresh apples for the 2024/2025 marketing year is projected to decrease by 10% to 10.1 million tonnes, marking the lowest harvest since the 2017/2018 season. This decline is primarily attributed to unfavorable weather conditions in the major apple-producing countries, as forecasted by the European Commission.
