A report by IndexBox on the European market for tangerines, mandarins, clementines, and satsumas reveals a 19.7% increase in imports value in 2020, driven by rising prices. The average import price rose by 19% compared to 2019, with Germany and France being the main importers, accounting for 44% of the total. Despite the increase in import price, the volume of imports remained stable at 1.8 million tonnes. Germany, France, and the Netherlands were the leading countries in terms of value of imports, together accounting for 59% of the total.
