European money for future-proof agriculture in Limburg, Netherlands

Europe is reaching into its pockets to support the entire South-East of the Netherlands in this regard. The provinces of North Brabant, Gelderland and Limburg will receive a total of around 74 million euros from Brussels until 2027. The provinces and water boards will add another 74 million euros to this. The Leader management costs subsidy scheme will be the first to open in Limburg. Leader focuses on broad rural development and bottom-up generated projects that focus on biodiversity, environment, climate, social cohesion and local economy. The money is invested in the quality of life and strengthening of the countryside.
